BIOGRAPHY

Soulful. Powerful. Natural. These are just a few words that describe the classic allure and undeniable artistry of Justyna Kelley. An experienced performer and true songwriter, Justyna captures attention with her stunning voice and presence and with her heart-felt, self-penned songs.

Born and raised in Nashville as the daughter of Irene Kelley, one of Music City’s finest singer-songwriters, Justyna has been singing since before she could talk and writing songs and stories ever since she learned to put pen to paper. Her formative years were spent on and off the road performing with her mother and also as a young actress appearing in numerous films, music videos, and TV commercials.

A singer, performer, and enthusiast of all things language and culture, Justyna studied Theatre, English, and French at the University of the South (Sewanee) and graduated at the top of her class as Summa Cum Laude. During these years, and between studies, she began splitting her time between Nashville, Los Angeles, and New York to carve out her own career as an actress and recording artist.

In 2009, during a closing shift at the New York dance studio where she was working, Charles Koppelman overheard Justyna singing to herself and was impressed enough to take her into the studio to record her first professional demos. From these recordings, she was able to land her first development and publishing deal with Huge American Music the following year. In 2012, after completing a full-length record in Los Angeles and New York, she signed an international distribution deal with 13 Bis Records (Warner France) and moved to Paris, France. For the next three years, she toured across the European continent and working with artists such as David Hallyday, Trisha Yearwood, Keith Urban, and Billy Gibbons.

In 2016, she began writing for Universal Production Publishing Music (Universal France). Her album "Nashville, Tennessee" on Koka Media was nominated for a Mark Award for "Best Country Album" the following year. In 2019, she reached #1 songwriter status on the Grassicana Charts with “Anything To Help You Say Goodbye”, a song she co-wrote with Irene Kelley and Steve Cropper for Irene's acclaimed bluegrass album "Benny's TV Repair".

Between Nashville and Paris, she works as a professional composer, producer, and engineer, creating music for film, TV and major label projects, including two recent songs on "NCIS: New Orleans" and an upcoming full-length album on TF1's label Kaptain Music in Paris.

Her pop album "Canon" was released on October 6th, 2023! A European tour is scheduled for Fall/Winter of 2024 along with some more exciting news coming soon - stay tuned!

Justyna continues to work as a film and voice-over actress taking auditions in Nashville, Los Angeles, and Paris and has booked leading roles in many international films and TV shows on networks such as NBC, TF1, and Twentieth Century Fox. She is also fluent in both French and Italian.
